Google buys its birthplace

Google Inc. has bought the garage where Larry Page and Sergey Brin started their journey 8 years ago.
The 1900 -square foot garage was purchased by Google Inc. from one of its own employees, Susan Wojcicki, who had leased it for $1,700 a month.
Susan Wojcicki, who is the vice president of product management, didn't work for the company at that time.
The Stanford guys used the garage for five months.

Back then, Google had just been incorporated after raising $1 millon from investors.
