Hide Folders in Windows, Without actually Hiding them!

Yup! We won't be hiding files or folders, but make them invisible to users. Not completely invisible, but still good enough.

This is basically a two part trick. First, we'll create a folder with a blank name. Once that is done, the second step is to make the icon of the file/folder invisible.

How to steps?

1.
Create a folder. While naming the folder, hit ALT + 0160 (Hold down the ALT key and press 0160 on the num keypad of your keyboard). You can also use ALT + 255 to create a 'nameless' folder.

2. Now right-click that folder and select Properties. Hit the Customize tab in the properties window and click Change icon. Select a blank icon from the list of icons given to you(image above). Click Ok.

You now have an invisible folder. Use the folder like you normally do.
