Learn to Use Digital Camera in Manual Mode Online

Planning to buy a new DSLR Camera? DSLR cameras take better photos than the standard point-and-shoot digital cameras. The automatic mode in any DSLR camera does a decent job, but the quality of pictures can still be improved by using it in manual mode, especially in difficult conditions.

So that means you'll have to learn some basic stuff about taking photos in Manual mode. And here's an online Digital Camera Simulator to quickly get started.

It is a Flash application which lets you alter some basic settings in a digital camera like ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, Lighting, Distance of the subject etc.
Besides Manual Mode, Shutter Priority and Aperture Priority modes are also provided.
The great thing about this is you can see the final result of the settings on the photo.
Oh! and the site also has some short descriptions of the photography jargon mentioned above.
Check it out!

View Inside Zip and Rar Files with Google Docs

Google Docs supports viewing the contents of Rar and Zip files online. Apart from viewing, it also allows to download the files inside the archives.

Using it is easy. Just go to and give the link to the archive file to view.
If the file is in your computer, or cell phone, just attach and send it as an email to Gmail. Gmail uses Google Docs Viewer internally to display attached files.

Another alternative is Wobzip, which can extract zip and rar files online.
