Worried about someone snooping your Facebook account? If you often use Facebook from public wifi networks; like at coffee shops etc, its important to secure your connection using Https. This will encrypt your connection with Facebook.
Enabling Https for Facebook is simple. There are a few caveats though; Facebook will be a bit slower than usual and some applications may not work.
The steps below will turn on secure browsing for Facebook-
1. Go to Account Settings page in Facebook. Make sure you are in the Settings tab.
2. In the Account Security section, tick the box under Secure Browsing(https). Click Save.
That's all. Now you can browse Facebook securely.
