Setting more than one home page in Google Chrome is smooth and easy. Here's how to do it -
1. Click the wrench icon
at the lop left of the browser and hit Options.
2. Click Basics tab.
3. In the On Startup section, click Open following pages option and enter the websites.
To do this stuff in Firefox, here is how to set multiple home pages in Firefox.

I think its changed.
On mine, the button is no longer a wrench button, its 3 bars.
Then instead of "basics", its "settings".
Then under "on startup"
check off "open a specific set of pages" and click on "set pages"
